Me and the legendary poet Nikki Giovanni back in March 2024. She spoke at my alma mater and was also honored with a few accolades from the university and the city of Boston. She also signed a book of hers I have titled, The Collected Poetry of Nikki Giovanni.
The makeup I did for an anime rave, also back in March. I went with a book club girlie and it was an experience, whew! Let’s just say, we are definitely in our thirties.
My makeup for this year’s Pride parade. I joined a friend’s company that had secured a spot in the parade and it was a good time. We walked for about an hour and a half and were definitely spent by the end! I didn’t have a particular look in mind and just freestyled the makeup, similarly to the anime rave look.
