Happy May 2025 y’all!
I’m sure a lot of you feel similarly (to me) in that 2025 is still writing itself. I’m not quite sure what to make of the year so far. But I’m going to try and strive forward. It’s what little me wants for big me. ❤

Boutta run it back
The way my ass look in these jeans, I’m boutta throw it back (Back, back)
When they see us out here winning, they get so mad
Now I’m feeling on myself, I don’t know how to act (Act, act, act, act)
Look at me now, better than before (Yeah, yeah)
They wanna be like me, can’t even blame them for it (Oh)
Didn’t come out of nowhere, they been sleeping on me, I’m bored
Look so good on your mood board (Yeah, we work hard, yeah)“B2b” Charli xcx and Tinashe
It’s a knife when you know
they counting on your mistakes
It’s a knife when you’re so pretty they think it must be fake
It’s a knife when they dissect
your body on the front page
It’s a knife when they won’t believe you
Why should you explain?
It’s a knife when the mean fans hate the nice fans
When somebody says: Ari I think you’ve totally changed
It’s a knife when somebody says they like the old me and not the new me
and I’m like who the fuck is she?

The above DJ mix is my first mix in five years! I cannot believe it’s been five. I swore I did one at least two years ago. But I’m actually referring to the Snoh Aalegra lo-fi mix I posted for awhile.
But that wasn’t an extended mix! “Getting to the Club Classics” is a thirty-minute DJ mix I did live, with no headphones either. I made due with the equipment and accessibility I had! I made two mixes actually. The first mix is close to an hour.
I know the audio quality is not the best, and there’s a part where the vocal overlap is choppy. I’m going to get better with that. I’ve already been offered some tips which I’m so thankful for! But I do like that my mix is vibrant and just turn up the volume for a vibe. I think you’ll enjoy the music selections at least. And I believe there are some good transition moments!
I feel it’s vibrant and vibe-y.
