Checked off the millennial bucket list: I finally attended a Linkin Park concert!!!

The From Zero World Tour is named after their first album with frontwoman Emily Armstrong, From Zero. I listened to it during its first month of release, and the album is really solid. I believe some of the best tracks are from the middle to end. My go-tos are:

“Heavy is the Crown”

“Over Each Other”

“Stained”

“IGYEIH”

Beginning of the concert!
“Lying from You”

We actually attended the second date of their tour stop in town, which was added due to ticket demand! (Though it was the day before the original concert date. Pvris was the opening act for both nights!) It was an awesome way to end July and reportedly, your girl was turnt! I sounded like an absolute cat in heat, a banshee, singing along and head-banging. Especially during “Two-Faced” from From Zero.

The set list was a great mix of Linkin Park singles and album cuts originally sung by the late Chester Bennington and songs from From Zero. I already knew and lauded Armstrong’s vocal talent, that for a band like Linkin Park, requires a unique ability to sing and scream with melody and rage. So it was awesome to peep post my concert attendance, her getting well-deserved praise for her vocals from the press and longtime fans.

“In the End”

Forgotten doesn’t mean that it’s forgiven this time

I give you everything I have

All you give me is your ugliness

You’re not as honest as you act

Just a devil with a God complex”

-“IGYEIH,” Linkin Park

The 22 days mark here was especially cute ❤ ❤ <3. Essentially, I was somewhat near my half-birthday the day of the concert!
“Numb”
I love this video I got of these two head-banging!
Just a girly pop and her poster after the concert!
This performance was Linkin Park’s first appearance at the MTV VMAs, back in 2001.
