While observing everything on display, I recalled so much of what happened. Including the toys, gadgets, clothes, and stores! But I also learned some (new to me) facts. Such as Heather Whitestone becoming the first deaf woman to win Miss America in 1995.
And I don’t know how that bypassed me (I was quite locked in at 8 years old with popular culture and the news thirty years ago). I’m glad to be aware of this sooner than later!
