C. Shardae Jobson
is an eccentric heroine with a glass heart. With that said, she’s also a writer. A contributing journalist + reporter. Negra. An art and makeup geek. Piscean. Warholian since birth. P/T DJ. Bibliophile. A history buff in the making. And again: profoundly eccentric.
Pick your poison.
Jobson earned her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, in English, from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
“Freeing yourself was one thing, claiming ownership of that freed self was another.” – Toni Morrison (1931-2019)
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. For myself I am an optimist — it does not seem to be much use being anything else. Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak. Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” -Winston Churchill (1874-1965)
As a DJ, Jobson has played at Hotel Chantelle (NYC), The Westway (NYC), 6B (Boston) and formerly known as Gallery Bar, Max Fish (NYC). In 2015, she earned a Sunday afternoon residency at Sweet & Vicious by the Bowery.
