Lavish Rebellion [DOT COM]

For this year’s 2014 Golden Globes, Australian actress Margot Robbie (who’s getting tons of notice for her turn in her first American film The Wolf of Wall Street) wore a cream colored and glittery banded dress by Gucci on the red carpet. Robbie took a more simplistic approach (with a subtle coruscate edge) for her Globes debut, and it recalled another creation from a few years from Roberto Cavalli, worn by both Beyonce and Colombian actress Catalina Sadino Moreno.

Beyonce first wore the Cavalli dress at the 47th Annual Grammy Awards, and at the 77th Oscars, Moreno wore the white version as she attended the show as a Best Actress nominee. Both events were in 2005.
