Best friends in real life and contemporary fashion plates LaLa Vasquez Anthony and Kim Kardashian both showed off some impressive heels from Lanvin and Giuseppe Zanotti that take the wedge to another level of extragavance (at least since Jeffrey Campbell introduced the no-heel high heel).  Vasquez Anthony wore the Lanvin gold mettalic framed wedges, complete with a big, black and gold flower at the front at an X-Rated drink sponsored event for the new film, Think Like A Man.

Kim Kardashian took a picture of her Zanottis for her Celebuzz blog. These wedges are “heel-less” with a big glossy silver ankle T-chain strap and a generous platform.

For whatever reason, the Lanvin and Zanotti shoes remind me of a pair Topshop last year that was hugely popular called Lectric with its playful lucite heel and criss-crossed knotted suede.
