If you were on the east coast last night, the weather was anything but summer-y (monsoon much?!), but I recalled this song the other day and had to save it for Throwback Thursday. While “Summer Girls” was kind of LFO’s only hit, it was memorable for its super sunny vibe, and I personally believed really put Abercrombie and Fitch on the map (or at least got everyone to pronounce it correctly).
And on a side-note, this is a #BostonBrethen post as the group began in Massachusetts, and their lead singer Rich Cronin was born in the neighborhood of West Roxbury. Sadly, Cronin passed away at the age of 36 due to leukemia.
Remember this TRL hit (that even Eminem parodied) below in his memory.
