July 15, 2014 marked the 17th anniversary of the untimely death of one of the fashion’s most celebrated and known visionaries, Gianni Versace. He was killed in front of his own home in Miami, Florida, and his death was met with great sadness from fellow peers and fans of his work. His sister  and designing partner Donatella immediately took charge as the Creative Director of the Versace brand, and since then has kept the legacy intact with the label continuing to create pop culture moments through through their pieces (aka Jennifer Lopez’s 2000 Grammy dress).

Below is a video of his amazing 1992 autumn/winter show, nicknamed “The Miss S&M Show” that featured some of his most famous designs that soon after the show wrapped became iconic. Of course, all of the top models (Naomi, Cindy, Christy, Linda, Helena, Yasmeen) of the time were there as well, working the runway.
