When you’re going through it, it being a break-up, a misunderstanding, a break-up, a agree to disagree arrangement, or just some good ol’ classic bullshit, it can really take a toll on your personal beliefs that the people in your life mean well and that hard work does pay off. We’ve all felt this way. This is especially true of courtships and relationships that take a turn for the absolute worst or unforeseen awkward. The tragedy of acknowledging both the pain and embarrassment is plenty enough to ruin a day and eat up the energy you’ve acquired since the last time you’ve slept well. That’s why of course music is not just the universal language, but the universal savior. While it’s easy for anyone as the years go by to say there’s no good music out there, that’s simply not the truth, and songs from the past and present are always here, whether it is to comfort us during sadness, remind us of our self-worth, or sometimes ti backup some legendary “I’ll show you” rebuttal in which you feel a sudden re-birth of talent, capabilities, and “who the fuck asked you” anti-validation from others.
I personally have gone through all the listed emotional stages above and trust me, there is a song for every one of those disturbing feelings of loving someone and secretly wanting to push them off a cliff, or for someone who’s gone through hurt, brusque criticism, heartbreak, a sincere belief you had a relapse in jugdment, the following playlist has got you covered. I’ve pressed play and repeat on these jams that to keep me going or even just to vent! So while you’re secretly anticipating specific a-holes to suddenly reappear as they always do, or when your paths crossed, remember these songs because you knew then as you know now, I KNOW BETTER.
