Yesterday, March 9, marked the 19th anniversary of The Notorious B.I.G.‘s untimely death at the age of 24. I remember hearing the news. It was just six months after Tupac Shakur had died, in 1996, and in an eerily similar situation. Both were killed in a drive-by shooting. It’s crazy to think that so much time has passed since. Nineteen years. I had turned ten years old in February 1997 too.

For today’s Jam of the Day, I’ll be posting the “One More Chance (Remix)” video from Biggie, my personal favorite of his as far as released singles go! Officially titled the “One More Chance/Stay With Me (Remix)”, and the video is a ’90s child dream. The cameos were fantastic. In the clip directed by Hype Williams, (as listed by Wikipedia. I wanted to make sure I got everyone because there’s a lot!) back in the day we saw:  Total, Luther Campbell, Heavy D, Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, Spike Lee, Da Brat, Adina Howard, Jermaine Dupri, D-Nice, Patra, Miss Jones, Queen Latifah, Craig Mack, Cypress Hill,Tyson Beckford, Aaliyah, Changing Faces, Kid Capri, Junior Mafia, Zhane, and Sean Combs. 

Cameos back then were hot for a video! And I still love seeing everybody jamming with their arms in the air. Yasss!
