This episode of the cartoon adaptation of comic series was without a doubt controversial, but like with anything Boondocks related, its curt commentary was a looking in the mirror glass take on what seemingly society and popular culture has chosen to honor and dismember. In it, the legendary Civil Rights leader Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is ressurected and goes from being glossy magazine fodder and misunderstood humanist. Amongst with praise and criticism, the episode won a revered Peabody Award for its comical bravery.
